How to enrol
Enrolment at Happy Melody starts with a conversation. Before we suggest a group or a time, we want to know who you are, why you are learning and what you want to achieve.
Steps to your first lesson
- Get in touch. By phone, email or the enquiry form. You will find all of them on the Contact page.
- A conversation. We ask why you are learning the language, what you have learned so far, what you want to achieve and how you learn best: in a group or one-on-one.
- Level check. We set your level in a conversation or a short test, depending on how much you have studied before. The A1 to C2 level is the starting point for choosing a programme. You can also check it yourself first: level check.
- A proposed programme. We suggest a group or one-on-one lessons, a time and the number of hours. You get the price and payment terms before you start.
- The first lesson. There is no free trial lesson. Lessons start once the first instalment is paid.
When you can enrol
Regular programmes follow the school year, so the main enrolment is at the start of it.
During the year you can join a group that is already running if it has a free place and matches your level. One-on-one lessons and tailored programmes, for work or a particular exam, start whenever there is a free slot.
Students who don't speak Croatian
You don't need Croatian to enrol. Students who don't speak it are taught in English.
Enrolling a child
We take children from the first grade of primary school. When enrolling a child, we also talk with the parents: what interests the child, how the language is going at school and what you expect from the lessons. During the year we follow the child's progress together.
Price and payment
There is no fixed price list. The price depends on the group size and the number of hours. You get it before the course starts, and it is paid in instalments.
