Teaching

Which languages do you offer?

We offer courses in English, German, French and Spanish.

How are classes run?

In groups of up to 8 students or one-on-one, at the school or online.

What is the class schedule?

2 × 45 min, 1 × 60 min, or by arrangement.

Can I enrol during the school year?

Main enrolment starts with the school year. During the year you can join a group that is already running if it has a free place and matches your level. One-on-one lessons can start whenever there is a free slot.

How do you find out my level?

We set your level through a conversation or a short test before we suggest a group or programme.

Do you teach children?

Yes, from the first grade of primary school. Games, music and creative activities are part of our lessons for children, adapted to their age.

Do you offer business English?

We build business-language programmes around the needs of your job: conversation, business vocabulary, writing and presentations.

Which international exams do you prepare for?

Cambridge (B2 First, C1 Advanced, C2 Proficiency), Goethe, DELF and DALF, and DELE. Preparation is one-on-one or in a group.

How we teach

The person first, then the student

  • 01

We get to know you before the first lesson

We want to know why you are learning, what you already know and what you want to achieve. A student who feels safe and accepted asks, takes part and makes mistakes without fear, and that is when real learning starts.

  • 02

    Experience without routine

The school has been running since 1992 and has taught generations of students. We still keep questioning our methods and looking for new ways to make every lesson interesting and useful.

  • 03

We don't all learn the same way

We build the programme around your goal, your prior knowledge and the way you learn best. Schoolwork, an exam, a job and a conversation on holiday each call for different lessons.

  • 04

    A language you actually use

Language is how we communicate, understand others and express ourselves. The aim is for students to use it in conversation, at work and when travelling; good marks and passed exams follow from that.

Some of our students have been learning with us for ten, fourteen, even twenty years.
